visa to australia,,criminal record
i have a slightly tarnished record in u.k...so i would not be allowed into australia-america......but i also have an irish passport...i have never lived in south ireland so im squeeky clean there.. im dual citizenship...could i travel to either country on the irish passport?

As for Oz? Don't really know but would imagine, like the US, Australia has no access to our criminal records unless you were a terrorist or something equally nasty

Unless you have done something seriously naughty (gaol time) fairly recently, you should have little trouble visiting Australia. If you try to hide the fact that you have any type of criminal conviction however, things will be difficult. Dual citizenship is no protection from the checks that are done when you apply for your visa. Every foreign citizen must apply for a visa, whatever their reason for travel.
