What's the best product for cleaning polish off the black plastic door rubbing strips on my car? I've tried white spirit, which looked as though it had done a lovely job, but as soon as the white spirit was dry the white marks made by the polish were back again!

Lighter fluid? Or just buy some new strips...

H, I get this problem many times after someone has polished their car,( I valet in my spare time) HOT soapy water & use a kitchen rubbing pad that should do your job.
