Hi everyone, this may have already been discussed here, apologies if it has. I do many of the prize crosswords Saturday Sunday and Monday and a couple of things niggle me. With the Sunday Express general knowledge crossword whats the Competition 16072 thing about in the address? It's a real job actually fitting the whole address on the envelope. Secondly the Herculis Crossword - why is the name and address form so far away from the crossword and why is there no space to enter the linked solutions from the Saturday crossword? Any ideas anybody, I'm not ranting, I love doing all these crossswords (big thanks to anyone who has helped me via this website) just a thought thats all...
Good Morning Boingboing: you express what I think every Sunday and Monday but never put into words; and the monthly 500 Telegraph crossword makes a very clumsy package.
As regards the Herculis on Mondays.
I write the answers on a piece of paper stick
an address label with my details on it , then
staple that to the crossword.
I have no idea about the significance of Comp.16072,
It should be noticed that the celebrity competition
also has the prefix comp 16058.
No idea why.
