How far is it in kilometers to walk a round the world

I'm not sure if you simply want to know the circumference of the earth - about 40,000 kms at the equator - or are contemplating an actual "walk". In fact, the vast majority of the equator runs through the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian Oceans; so perhaps a swim around the world would be more appropriate!
