This weeks visit to A&E - blooming kids!
18 Answers
Morning all. Yesterday youngest Junior Overall (9) was playing out when he fell over and impaled himself on a sizeable tree branch - straight into his forehead. He looked like a unicorn. I whisked him straight down to A&E where his appearance caused everyone in the waiting room to laugh. When it was our turn to be seen, the nurse approached and said "And what is this young man's problem?" Cue more laughter from the waiting room. Ah well, only 5 more weeks of the holidays to go.

Funniest thing my girls ever did was a medically related incident.
Daughter number 2 has severe allergies and needs an epipen.Playing out one day she had a reaction to something and hadn't got her epipen, daughter number 1 came home to get it,ran back to administer the injection...unfortunately she used the epipen wrong and wound up with the needle from the epipen embedded in the bone of her left thumb.
Cue 2 ambulances and many onlookers, both daughters admitted to hospital for 2 days.
One doctor at A&E even remembered the incident several years later when daughter number 1 was admitted with a quinsy and glandular fever,he recognised her instantly.lol
