Open the windows for a start. Always make sure they are dry before putting away. Spray with `Clean Linen`

Sorry, I meant `Fabric Spray` in a `Astonish` bottle from G&T`s, Wilkinsons, In-Excess.

once again thank you, I can do this with the clothes but the rooms are big with very high ceilings and the place smells really musty, tried sprays and scented candles but you can still sell that damp/musty smell,its a bit overpowering.

Hi, have you got old carpet in the room, is it downstairs room or maybe it's a room that doesn't get much light. Could be something to do with any of these.

its our place in Goa, only a small old, flat, but my other half has gone there, in monsoon and says the place stinks and he has to sleep there ! Ask your pals on the A/B he has pleaded with me. No carpets, tile floors but the place has been shut up for six months and as we wont be able to go again this year [ credit crunch] we were hoping there was some old fashioned remedy.tks for your reply, appreciated.
