Hi there, does anyone know of firms/agents that cater for travel insurances for over-70's (with medical conditions) which don't cost an arm & a leg (pardon the pun!) to buy

Think my mum got hers through Churchill. She's 70 + with high blood pressure and the cover was better than mine!!!
Do try the Post Office for travel insurance.Age Concern usually works out to be quite expensive by comparison.I think the post office is underwritten by AXA, they also do a cheap short trip policy.

Insure For All (http://www.insureforall.com/) offer specialised insurance cover for senior citizens. Believe they all have means to cover pre-existing medical conditions.
I had a similar problem finding travel insurance cover for my Aunt for her 2 week trip to Canada last year, she is also in her 70s. I didnt realise that travel insurance for seniors was so expensive. I found a site called Over 60s Travel Insurance It listed many insurance providers that give travel insurance for the over 60s and there are a number listed that cover people in their 70s One that was listed provided cover up to 120 years of age, although I forget which one. The price comparison was also helpful I think I ended up getting 2 weeks cover for about 85 which I thought was very reasonable!
