Youtube has started jamming every minute or two on both IE (latest edition) and Firefox, despite downloading the latest Flash player. Do I have a virus or is there a way of fixing it somehow?
It is nothing to do with your pc, viruses or anything else within your control.
It is because the internet is not streaming the video quickly enough. This could be due to your internet speed or a problem with YouTube's servers.
When it starts to play, press pause, wait a few minutes, then press play.
I'll try that next, but odd as it's a pretty decent computer and just been upgraded to 10mb. I've got a laptop on amb and that plays perfectly.
I just discovered pulling the timer to the end and replacing it worked a few times so may have fixed the problem with a treatment if nothing else. The hard disk is old (40mb) and was getting full but I got a quarter off and everything else worked fine after I did that as that had slowed everything down until I fixed it.
I just got a security message telling me to uninstall Zone Alarm, which I did and guess what, Youtube is now behaving. Then someone else told me it had a similar effect on his. There you go.
