So lovely to hear from you - we have had a grt day here, OH and myself and son took pup down to the beach, had a wonderful time - very packed - everyone making the most of the good weather today. pup went into the sea and came out looking like a drowned rat! We then stopped off at local pub (which has been closed for some time but now re-opened with new owners) - its lovely - huge garden - very doggie friendly - pup was on quite good behaviour until the coast guard went by with nee naw going at full belt - well - pup sat and howled for all his worth - a real long howl - head up, chops puffed out - a good five minutes worth much to the amusement of all the others in the garden! Ho hum!! He enjoys a morning howl but never known him to howl in public!
He's still stealing big time - got to watch our backs!! He's obsessed with peoples pockets - and will dive in and steal what he can!! Money, tissues, wallets - etc!!! We have a great game with him, hiding the squeaky ball - and he can find it so quickly! We have even hidden it in the back of cupboards and he's there like a flash, tail wagging. No wonder cockers are used as sniffer dogs! Hmmm - me thinks he should be going out to work!!!!
Yellow beak came back (so surprised because i thought we had lost him) - he has many females at his beck and call! Cheeky devil - still comes down on the patio table for his tit bits - lots of birdies in the garden - pup is no threat to them, they take no notice of him, apart from the robins who attack his rear end!! Plenty of bees and butterflys, dragonflies etc plus frogs in the pond and pheasants wandering around (lol the other week there were 5 in the courtyard and one was standing outside my neighbours front door as if waiting to be asked in!! I rang her and said open your front door - well the look on her face was priceless!!! Oh dear, just got told post too long so its off to sort out faceb, ta ta 4 now.xxx

Wow with the Red Arrows, aren't they fantastic.
I'm fine thanks, alfie. My two menaces are the same as ever. The cat is still the boss, naturally.
Madaboutcats is off on holiday soon. I'm sure there are going to be a few familiar faces that want to say hello. A lot of us use FB to chat away from the trouble makers that can infest this site. I kept my Rosetta name on FB for a while, so thats ok. I do hope you make it onto the "other side" lol

Hi ruth!! LOL - toad watch!!! Pups on aeroplane watch at the mo! Waiting at the patio doors - ready for another barking session!! Im going to brush his ears in a mo - regular eve thing - they are so big (dumbo eat your heart out!) and long and not designed for summer use!!! Need to do them every nite (which he loves - gets the glazed look on his face and goes into ga ga land) - we keep them clipped as much as poss but they get so hot - also have gentle ear wipes which help - he loves that too but then steals the wipes as he would!! Will email you re fb - will be a new venture for me! xxxx
