scalp irritation

My 15yr old daughter has a problem with her scalp.  She has been using Tresemme shampoo and conditioner for a couple of months now, but yesterday she complained that her scalp felt strange.  On checking it, she appears to have an area that is for lack of a better way to describe it - oozing a clear liquid.  There is no redness or itching so do you think it could be the shampoo or something else that she should see the doctor about?

Could be ezcema or an allergy. Was it like crackly dry skin? Should see a doctor.
the first thing that springs to mind is psoriasis, it is common to the scalp (I have it there) and there are a few different types of psoriasis, one being an oozing wet type!
Definitely something to get checked out by a doctor.
Try using a new shampoo, something like Simple which has no colourings or perfumes in it.
i have sebhorric dermatitis on my scalp and get that every now and then, i got a special shampoo from my gp, i would recommend seeing one before buying anything as i tried loads of stuff before going and it got a bit expensive!
Since my mum started buying Tressume shampoo and conditioner we have noticed we always feel itchy on our neck and back (must be that it falls down our backs when we use it in the shower). No flaky, oozing scalp though.
