Scs Sofas
Anybody had dealings with Scs Sofas. had a two and three seater delivered on the 11/7/09 and middle cushion on three seater is aready looking like i have had it a couple of years.
Got no kids at home so not getting that much use but concerned that if its like this after two weeks whats it going to look like after a year.
Any comments on dealings with them and the outcome would be great.
Thanks

Don't know about SCS, but we bought a very expensive leather suite some years ago from Cousins and had problems with the cushions going flat. Stupidly, I left it until just after 12 months to contact them. They sent out an 'independant' person, and the eventual conclusion was that it was our fault as there are instructions under the cushions that all cushions should be removed and 'dressed' (ie bashed up) every day!! Who has got the time or energy to do that? Nobody pointed this out to us when we bought the suite, so we feel we were treated very shabbily. I'd never buy a suite that wasn't filled with firm foam in the future.
Have a look under your cushions and see if there are any labels. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply.
Cant do that as the cushions are an integral part of the suite although the look like they are seperate( stitched about two inches down to give that appearence) which is what is giving me concerns.
Have just spoke to one of there customer service reps (very nice and helpfull lady) and they are sending a guy out next Friday to look at it.
Had explained what the problem was and she said it didn't sound right to her either, fingers and toes crossed they put it right or replace it.

I bought a couple of budget priced 2 seater sofas from Sofa Sofa a few years back. They were well made, except for the cushions, which went flat went sat on for a short time. Yes, there were instructions included that stated the cushions should be plumped up every day, but this really didn't make any difference.
In the end I had quality foam cushions made for me by a local upholsterer. They did cost 35 for each cushion, but it was worth it - it's like having a new luxurious suite.
I only wish I did it earlier.

Got my fingers crossed that he is not a jobs worth and agrees with me or it will leave me no choice but to start the letter writing quoting the sale of goods act.
Will post after he has been
