(or maybe they lost me?!) but I wouldn't want to go back & change anything. In fact I wish I'd 'gone for it' a few more times when I had the chance!! Think I'll make up for it & become an old trollope hehe!!

Agreed... better to have loved and lost. There is nothing like the feeling of being in love and being loved, even if you lose it!
"The greatest thing you will ever learn is just to love and be loved in return"- yes, its from Moulin Rouge but oh so true!
In years to come people look back on the past and generally remember most the best bits not the bad, a broken heart heals and you are left with the happy memories.
The first time I was in love it ended after 4 years I was absolutely heart broken I thought I would never find anyone else who understood me like he did but I have now found someone who does and is better for me, I am happier than I have ever been. My ex has also found someone else and even though it was hard to say goodbye we are both better off.

By my troth yes and thrice yes. To be, or not to be, that is the question, whether it is nobler, oh enough of that rubbish...
Yes, it is what we are born to do. To love and lose until we find our perfect match. It must be very pleasing to find ones perfect match first time around, but it must leave you wondering about the others you haven't met.
