the company i work for fills up all of the work vehicles at the local tesco petrol station and today we were going through all of the old diesel receipts and found a number of the ones you get when you haven't claimed your points,
is there a time limit in which you must claim the points as we have a number dating back over 1 year and were going to get them put onto the company clubcard
Sorry, but the time limit is 14 days (with a maximum of 2 receipts being submitted within any 14 day period). Click, 'General' and see the second question, here: http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/clubcard/faq.asp
Hello there,
I just rang Tesco Clubcard on 0800 59 16 88, and they informed me that you have ONLY 14 days after the purchase (without using the Clubcard) to retrieve your Clubcard Points.
They said they have reduced the period to 14 days because people were picking up petrol receipts on the forecourt and trying to add them to their Clubcard total.
If you are doubtful, feel free to ting Tesco on the above (free) number and they will confirm this.
Sorry.
It's still an interesting answer, Mr V. It seems to imply that Tesco think that people will be collecting receipts, more than 14 days old, from their forecourts. They obviously don't sweep them very often!
I tried to add some points onto my Boots card and the lady said as I didn't tell them at the time - I'd gone out without my usual purse where my card is - I couldn't add them. She said you had to ask at the time.
Basically it's abit of a con - so what if anyone has picked them up fromt eh forecourt the points haven't been added anyway so they msut bank on selling so much stuff without giving any points.
No wonde rthey are taking over the country and the world!!!!
