When I am typing an email and I do touch typing and type fast the cursor is always jumping either to one line above or two or various words behind so it makes my typing very slow as I have typed in the wrong place and have to delete and place the cursor back to its original postion and type.  This is making my typing very slow and annoying.

What I am typing now is fine and I can type quickly but the cursor only happens when I am in my email account.

Does anyone know why?

What e-mail system are you using?
Are you using a laptop with a touch-pad mouse just below the keyboard? When I first got my laptop and was typing I found that this happened fairly frequently. I discovered that I was accidentally just brushing the touch-pad occasionally and the cursor would jump to the last place that mouse had been.

The email system I am using is Outlook Express.

I am using a laptop with a touch pad but my hands are well above the pad so I do not touch it.

This morning when I used the email it was fine typing but this afternoon the cursor kept jumping, its so frustrating.
