I do not think that Charles Dance has been knighted ! He was appointed an OBE in The Birthday Honours List in June 2006, not KBe ! Having said that I cannot suggest any better answer !

Singed-cat, I think that you are correct Charles Dance was awarded an OBE in the Bithrday Honours list 2006 & I'm sure has not been subsequently knighted.
