I don't really know why I'm bothering to answer your unnecessarily rude contribution to this thread, Zacmaster, but I will. Perhaps I just don't like the idea of you being flabbergasted and want to put you out of your misery. I've read the reviews and they are conflicting, so I would like other opinions - if that's ok with you, of course.

I post my opinions on review sites (haven't been on the Arcadia, though), so mine are much the same wherever you find them.

Thanks, jno. I appreciate your help. I have read the reviews you posted, but I was rather hoping that someone I'm used to talking to on here might have some experience of sailing on the Arcadia, especially in the Far East. We're going to be in that area of the world on business, and were thinking of taking the opportunity to tack on a bit of a holiday afterwards.

hi naomi.....I've never been on the Arcadia so I suppose I'm not much help. I've always been on the Aurora and Oriana but assuming the Arcadia is up to normal P&O standards I think you'll enjoy yourself.

Suggest you go to boards.cruisecritic.com and click on the link for P&O - here you will be able to ask lots of P&O related questions to the people who have most recently traveled with them. This is the most active cruise related website with the highest number of contributors. Personally I didn't like cruising with them because of their fusty English feeling, ...but would go with the new Celebrity Equinox/Eclipse instead.

PS: I didn't read that you were going to be in Asia - in this case then Azamara Quest wins hands down IMHO.
