Photos / music from ipod to Vista Laptop

Hello my future heroes .....

I got a virus this month which wiped all pictures and itunes from my laptop, I have 32g of music and 4g of pictures on my ipod.
When I plug my ipod to my laptop its asks me to sync which will clear all my pictures/music from my ipod.
Friends have suggusted two programmes which would work if I had windows, but I have Vista.

Please can anyone help, I am not too bothered about the music as that was saved on my harddrive, but my pictures were not

Vista is windows, it's just another version of it!

yamipod will work with vista though and will let you get your stuff off the ipod

OK it will defiantly let you get your music off the iPod, not so sure on the pics though having just checked the docs...

Try it and see, if not post back and either I'll go looking or somebody might know (fo3nix?)

Don't you know any software that would do it more agreeably, chuck?
