I want to save a file to disc but I dont know how.

Does your pc have a dvd burner?
Is it XP or Vista?

You can try it this way.

Put a recordable disc into your computer. It will show up when you view My Computer.

Right click on the file. Click "copy" Then right click on disc and click "paste".

or do you mean to hard disk/floppy?

I clicked on my burn for free icon and bingo job done

You just need a DVD burning software to help you burn files to DVD. I'd like to recommend this one to you. it can help you burn photos, songs, video and files to DVD. My friends recommend it to me, it's easy to use and works pretty well for me
