Old cartoon

There was a carton that would of proberly came out in early 90's and it envolved a magical crystal stone and it was kept in a castle which was protected by a wizard and 2 green people and this demon devil thing always used 2 try and steel the magic stone. can anyone remember what this cartoon was called?

Are you refering to 'The Dreamstone'? I remember it vaguely, and I'm sure thats what it was called. There was an mad scientist working for the bad dude, and the stereotypical bumbling foot soldiers. You could even buy the soundtrack cd!!
