Every time I click on a link or summon up a page, such as AB, it appears only as about a quarter of the screen and I have to click 'enlarge' Now, I can always drag the sides of the picture instead, but how do I get the computer to remember the new, adjusted , size, or just make it give full screen next time, automatically ?

summon up a page!! do you need candles and a cauldron for that? :)

ignoring your problem slightly here, but if you are saying every time you click a link it's opening an entirely new window then it sounds like you have a very old browser installed, newer browsers would just open a new tab within the current window.

The first thing you should do is upgrade to the latest version of whatever browser you're using.
'Chuck' is right - IE7/8 Firefox3.5 etc all have security improvements as well as productivity benefits that if you can should be taken advantage of. That said, IE6 (assuming that is what you are using) should remember the size of the last window closed. If you open a single IE6 window and stretch it to the size you want, then close it. Does it then not open next time at that size?
Try this: Open the browser, then open a subsidiary window. Enlarge the subsidiary window by dragging the edges (not the Maximise button), then close the Parent window before the subsidiary. The setting should be remembered.
