Is it possible to burp and phart at the same time?

Was reading an intriguing book on flatulence today. An interesting question came up, is it possible to burp and phart at the same time?

When I was 16 and in my first job I had a fit of burping, farting, and hiccupping all at the same time.....my new colleagues were somewhat amazed....

Especially if you live in this house....Stella burps are quite forceful.

Since both burping and farting involve the relaxation of sphincters, I can only think of one condition where it would be normal to burp and fart at the same time. That's immediately after death!

but can you get the same 'power' from both orifices at the same time?

Buenchico, surely they involve different parts of the digestive system - before and after digestion?
