Please help!

a stupid girl at school left a babybel cheese wrapper (red wax) on my jacket, in the sun, and it melted all over it. I scraped it off and rinsed it under tha tap, but basically the stain is there there.

Any idea on how I can sort it out? How do you remove wax from cotton clothing??!

okay. Put wadded kitchen paper over and under the wax and iron with a hot iron. The wax will melt into the paper. Change the paper and do it again and keep going till no more comes off on the paper. Do it once or twice more to be sure, then wash the jacket as per the washing instructions

Brown paper (get parcel wrapping paper from the post office) works aswell

both of the above answers but to get rid of any residual colour remove it by dabbing with colorless methyl alcohol before washing.

freeze the garment then the wax will chip off
