Most importantly, it kind of spoils the image I will ever have of him again in Mission Impossible. How about a bit of 'real' method acting in his next role? Next time a baddie tries to shoot him, he should just grab the guys arms and say 'Hey, why did you do that? You're a jerk, a jerk. I was just trying to save the world. And you do that? You're a jerk'.
Ha ha, I can just imagine Crowe. Bam! A heterosexual instinct would have taken over and fists would be flying ;-)
I agree with you, the whole thing is amazing. With the wealth of Pennis type comic talent the UK has to offer, we end up with a guy who uses a squirty microphone?! Is the rest of the show going to be like that?
I just loved Pennis. 'Demi Moore Demi Moore! BBC. If it were tastefully done, and you were paid the right money, would you consider doing a show with all your clothes on?'
i think he handled it pretty well considering who fuming he was behind all that control. i applaud him for handling it the way he did and hope the bloke who did it was rough-handled by the bouncers.
i'm not a tom cruise fan, i don't mind the bloke though, so i'm coming from a regular person's perspective here.
sharon osbourne had a more natural response but unfortunately that will have given them what they wanted - some unique footage of her. Good luck with her lawsuit against them though.
Your question is simple to answer though - how would you feel if it was you?
On top of that, if you are a highly recogniseable, highly paid movie star of that stature (or even less) there are always weirdos and loonies, and who's to say that someone couldn't use the same situation to spray him with acid, or anything else for that matter?
Tom Cruise is well-known for his interaction with the public (esp at these events), something that, esp in recent years, is increasingly rare with famous people. This kind of thing would put me off. And this was a "press representative".
On a more personal level, I think this type of Jeremy Beadle entertainment, that compromises the dignity people, famous or not, is immature and abusive (although I used to find Dennis Pennis....was that his name....funny sometimes).
"It was a cheap stunt and he has right to be annoyed, personally I thought it was funny as I think TC is completely up his own ass and I don't like the guy. Lets face it theres no harm done. Pressing charges will just make him look even more stupid."
Greg222 is it me or did you contradict yourself??
