Easyjet
If one is to believe TV programmes, Easyjet, at ground staff level at least, is largely run by inexperienced 20 something year olds, with poor inter-facing abilities, and I am apprehensive about using the company. Your personal experiences please,Answerbankers, be they good or bad. Many Thanks.

All my travel with them has been between Bristol and Valencia. They have been professional, courteous and helpful at all times. My only gripe is they never seem to have enough ice on their drinks trolley. And one simply can't enjoy a niceG&T without a few rocks.... ;-)
Have used them many times with never a problem.
Frankly, I feel a little sorry for the ground staff - if somebody turns up an hour late for a flight, that it not Easyjet's problem.
OK, traffic may have been a problem or their train may have been cancelled, but why should Easyjet inconvenience on-time passengers for just one or two passengers that are late?
If somebody kicked off at me the way you see on the TV, even if I could get them on the flight I wouldn't just out of sheer bloodymindedness.
On more than one occassion I have been sat in a plane and missing take-off slots because some selfish areshole is in the bar or buying a big Toblerone. Personally, if you aren't on time, then tough.
Easyjet are good at what they do - they are a no frills cheap airline. They are not a personal mode of transport for selfish people who deign to turn up when they see fit.

I fly a lot ( altho not with easy jet , I wish they served Isle of Man) I have this theory that all luggage should be picked up after security and then passengers take their own luggage to aircraft hold...........No passenger + no luggage = plane can go on time. The reason that the plane has to wait is because it's such a pain to off load luggage...Go without the latecomers is what I say.
I've just done two of them and no problems, except they wouldn't let me check in online - it didn't say so, just said 'not available at this time', so I wasted a lot of time trying again and again when in fact it's never available on this particular trip.
I wouldn't bother paying extra for speedy boarding - sometimes all it means is you get on the bus first, not the plane.
Incidentally, flip flop, when it said the gates closed sharp at 3pm... actually it hadn't even opened by 3pm. And they did wait for latecomers. I don't mind either way, but I wish they'd stick to their word.
Hardly anyone checked in luggage, so that sped things up. No weight limit (within reason) on carry-on bags.

Have used them several times this year from Luton and Gatwick. No problems at all. Best thing to do, if you can, is to take hand luggage only and check in on line. That way you are in the priviliged group A, and get the pick of the seats. Crew on board always friendly and helpful. (in my experience)
Easyjet are a good "low cost" airline especially when you compare them to the very worst of them: Ryanair. I have flown with them around 20 times over the years and not had any major problems with them. Their flights are invariably late by up to an hour and the worst aspect of them is their boarding system which they will not scrap as they continue to make good money out of speedy boarders.
I wouldn't hesitate to book with them.
