which one do you think is most suitable....?
Hello there....
Time has time to buy the mrs her own lap top.
But I dont know where to start really so much out there and havent got much of a clue with all the technical jargon (wouldnt think I was only 34!)
Basically all it will be used for is word processor, i tunes, surfing on line.......... no need for huge amount hard drive space.... but would be good if it was reasonably quick.... budget around 200'ish
Did see some cheapish ones in Tesco ?
Any suggestion would be welcome please,
Many Thanks,
Simon

You're going to be lucky to find a laptop for that, you can get a low spec netbook, but that would not be suitable for iTunes and will have a tiny screen and virtually no storage.
add another 100-150 to that really for a even half way decent laptop, this is the cheapest I can see on tescos site that isn't a netbook.

and it will do what you want, I can also highly recommend HP in general.

I think nearer 300 is the minimum for a laptop.
Any laptop at that price will be low spec, but good enough for what you want to do.
Try staples, Tesco, Argos etc.
There are often good deals posted here

I know it says discontinued but still have some in our tesco @ 279.
Just one last check to see if there is anything better at this moment in time that I can get for the same money ?
