British Airway Sale?
7 Answers
Does anyone know if and when British Airways has any sort of price reduction at specific times of the year please? I've been hanging on for a flight that never seems to go down, flying in November. Should I keep hanging on in the hope of a reduction or did I ought to cut my losses and buy now?

But then nearer the flight, even if the plane is empty, prices will go up as they know if people are booking a flight near the date they are panicing a bit so will pay anything.
Dont leave it too late of you will find the price will go up.

I suspect that if the flight is in November, and they still havent dropped the ticket price, they are very unlikely to.
There are certain destinations, and certainflights where there is never any realy problem filling the flight which means the prices dont get discounted. Sounds like the one you are after is one of those.
AsVHG said, i would buy now, before the price goes up..

Thanks guys.... it's so frustrating - I go on this route around the same time every year and have never paid more that 360. This time the flights started off at over 500 due I suspect to the 'high fuel prices' but when the fuel prices came down, the flight prices haven't..... in fact they are now costing 575 and have done for the past few weeks.....mmmm decisions, decisions!!!

LOL!! I'm with you on that one bobturkey but my other half seems to have an aversion to 'changing planes' en route - BA is the only one that does direct flights BUT I am going to put my foot down this year - if it's a choice between 400 on another airline and changing planes or a direct flight at 575 with BA, he'll get what I book and like it!!!
