I have just been looking throuhg a pregnancy site and it gave a recipe idea for pork with blue cheese. It said to look at the tip which I did and it states to make sure pasturised blue cheese is bought. I thought blue cheeses and cheese like brie etc were a no no full stop due to listeria!! please dont tell me i've been avoiding these for 22 weeks when i didn't have too?!

Does anyone know whether i should or shouldn't really eat these?

I am not a medical expert and think you should speak to your GP or midwife for current medical opinion, however, I always believed that it was on the dodgy list due to these cheeses being made traditionally from raw unpasturised milk. If this is true then a cheese made from pasturised milk and stored correctly should be safe. But is it worth the risk?

Personally I would be more worried about the pork.
