legal music downloads

does anybody know where i can find a site where i can download as much legal music as i want and only pay a fixed amount of money each month? I know Napster does this but I can't put their music on my ipod. Anybody got a good site?

why wont it go on your ipod? if it is cos it is an mp3 file then just load the mp3 files into iTunes and then right click the song u want on the ipod and select the option "convert to aac"

both e-tomi and winmx are P2P filesharing services, while technically legal, downloading copyrighted material through them is illegal.

jonny-w: I have used WinMX as someone else suggested and now I use Ares (AresLite) which I've found to work a little better. (click link and "get Ares now")

And there is no need to use a site that charges you, these sites are totally free and downloading is easy...I don't know why any of these MP3 files wouldn't transfer to your IPod, so try em' out....hope this works for ya...
