Apart from 'statins' -What really gets cholesterol levels down -??

go for using a top rated olive oil to use in stead of a spread on your bread etc, personally i use cold pressed hemp oil very high in omega 3&6 by "good oil" from large tesco's stores around �6 a bottle of course cutting right down on fatty foods.
after 2 months on this i got mine down from 4.7 to 4.3 and i'm 58 years old.

by cutting down on fatty foods i mean the obvious,- fatty meat cuts. chips/ fast food etc
of which i have none apart from prob a burger once a flood.
and do some research on statins before your signed up for life on them ,they have drawbacks as all drugs do,other heart problem are one
my doc wanted me to go on them but after reading up on them i said no i'll alter my diet actually just went on benecol and had more oil in diet it worked
