(I could have posted this in A & N, but thought I would get a more amusing response here.)
Only, when I feed my cat, I ask her if she is hungry, then show her 2 whiskas sachets and ask her to choose which one she wants. It's strange, but she actually does choose one of them. Is it just me that is a bit soft in the head? Or do any of you do it too? :-)
Indeed I talk to my dog and not just using a singular word as the dog whisperer suggests, my dog can understand me when telling him to go downstairs amongst other things, I also talk to my fish and my African land snails when feeding them.
Yep I talk to both of mine. I am sure ASBO understands more than he lets on - he sure knows what "no" means, but goes "clever deaf" when I say it.
Cuddles is very bright. She understands loads of stuff. If I say "where are the birdies?" she runs to the french window and starts chirruping at them. And if I say "Give us a kiss" she rubs her face on my nose. She's so cute. (Although she wasn't THAT cute when she peed on the floor this afternoon having missed her litter tray and I put my foot on it nearly splitting my difference as I did the splits).
Gosh!...............thanks for all your replies.
I'm glad I'm not the only one talking to my cat...... he he.
You all have some talented and lovely pets and it's nice that you have shared your stories with me.
