Are you an optimist or a pessimist, do you always look on the bright side of life or do you
always expect the worse to happen! Do you smile and greet everyone pleasantly or are you curmudgeonly and cross!

Basically, I always expect the worse, however I am not grumpy with it. I do smile and greet everyone pleasantly (apart from a very few). In fact I tend to smile at everybody even strangers and I have a cheerful exterior even though I am sometimes really down.

I expect the worse because I suffer from anxiety, but people see me as confident and self assured - little do they know.

In fact I am probably like crisgal, if I have understood her correctly.
Oh and I do see all the good things in life as well. I am pleased very easily by little things - but I have this awful pessimism that expects things to go wrong!
The glass is always half empty. :-(
Definitely an optimist - not to say I can't be grumpy or mardy sometimes - but I always look on the bright side of life a la Monty Python, and I always try and see the good in a person or situation.

Life can be miserable enough sometimes, without making it even more miserable by not having hope or optimism.
Sandy - the glass tends to be half empty unless you fill the god damn thing up!!! But thats just physics not being a pessimist!!!!

Buy smaller glasses so they look fuller or drink out of the bottle..... just a suggestion :-)
