i never really noticed much of Ethel's ab contribution until the Corrie stripper incident, where she posted that she had been in touch with him via email andn posted the link. I think she mainly posted during the day and in othert topics and so I ws not really awate of her until then .

However, i do remember something from her when we had the PMs and the avatars in the sports section on the beta AB, not sure what it was now though.

The neighbour (who I thought was Ethel's neighbour) did say there was a street of the same name in Kingswinford, and also in Wednesbury. I don't know if those places are close to Dudley.

They are quite near but in opposite directions mrs c, I used to work in that area at Brierley Hill.

mrs chappie, Kingswinford is only about 2 miles from Dudley and Wednesbury about 4 or 5 miles.
Kingswinford would also have a Dudley post code and Wednesbury would have a Walsall post code.

Ethel said she led a funeral with horse-drawn carriage. That reminded me of the Kray black horse-drawn carriage/hearse. Ethel said "her driver called" for work - I presumed she still 'did the books & wages' for the undertakers she inherited.
