Mac Code

I am due to switch to Post Office broadband on 7.9.09 but now wish to use BT instead. Post Office already has Mac Code from current provider (Orange). Will the same Code allow alternative transfer to BT (as switch not yet taken place) or will a new one be needed? If so, from who?

The Mac code is the code for the device that you want to connect. If it's the same device, it will have the same Mac code.

The MAC code is nothing to do with the device. It is the Migration Access Code given by your current broadband supplier. I suggest you speak to Orange.

yes you can use your existing MAC code as long as it is not past it expiry date, if it is past it's expiry date just request another one, they are obliged to reissue one and are not allowed to charge for it.
