ebay question

I sold a washing machine on ebay. I am pretty fed up because when the man arrived 2 weeks after winning the bid ( he told me he couldnt collect it before) and started bartering for the machine saying he did not want to pay the bid price!
I needed the space in my garage otherwise I would have told him to get lost but I accepted the lower price as I need my garage.
He has not left feedback and will not leave feedback until I leave positive feedback - I have been told feedback cannot be left after 3 months. If the item was sold on the 26th August could I slip in my negative feedback on the 26th November without him being able to seek revenge and put negative feedback on my records?
Thanks

I know it will not help now but if you sell in future for collection and they do not want to pay I would think you could report as a non paying bidder because all bids are legally binding and he could have been reported and you would have been able to relist. You could also avoid pay on collection and insist on paypal payment prior to collection to ensure you have the payment first. You could try going on the seller forums and asking for advice if you could still report him.
Such a shame some people like that bloke have to ruin such an easy transaction just because they want to push their luck.
I hope any other transactions you have go smoothly.
