'Touch' lamp?

Not sure if this is the right place for this query.

This may be a daft question [or not] but most days about 8.10 am my touch lamp comes back on, it's freaking me out - does this happen to anyone else?

Mine used to come on when the phone rang or my alarm on my phone went off - may even be a neighbours alarm through the wall or something - the fact that it is so regular would fit with it being an alarm somewhere - either that or your polterguest is very regular in his habits!!

Sometimes all it needs is a draught. Mine and my daughter's do this from time to time. We always unplug them when we go on holiday.
