Help? i am trying to idenify a track from a tv show

Can anyone help?
I heard a track on Absolute Radio recently and remembered it was used in either Buffy the vampire slayer or possibly Angel.
It is sung by a male and sounds 80's ish, the male has a unique voice like that of Human League and it has an instrumental bit in it. Please help it is driving me insane?

i even sat in the car waiting for it to finish and the track after it so the bloody DJ would announce it but all he said was that it was an good track hadn't heard it in ages - fat lot of help?
