Can anyone tell me why the top 4 instruments on the centre consol which I think are the jet pipe temperatures, are all offset and not straight like the other instruments? As I happen to have been lucky enough to have been in the cockpit of a vulcan today. Cheers. i
when you say offset do you mean they are rotated a few degrees from level?
If so that is normally done so when the gauge is reading about normal the needle will be sticking straight up as this makes it easier for the pilot to spot at a glance if the needle moves off the normal position.
