KVM Switch - problems with keyboard
2 Answers
Hello,
I have a belkin KVM switch connected to two machines.
I have a USB keyboard and mouse that work with one machine but not if I plug them into the KVM switch. Any ideas why or what I could try please?
Thanks,

In the end I gave up trying. I have my mouse and two monitors switched via the KVM, and I plug the keyboard in the front USB port of the machines, and manually swap it. The main disadvantage is that I have to keep another keyboard connected to the KVM (and shoved behind the monitor) as otherwise the KVM beeps constantly.
Having said all that - you did connect the keyboard and mouse direct to each machine so that the correct drivers were installed before connecting via the KVM?
