i am getting pop ups on my pc could you advise me of of somthing to stop them i cant afford a lot i have tried ad- aware but it not getting rid of them please could you help. Thank you for your time

unlike virus scanners - malware is more the merrier - they all have their strengths add

spybot search and destroy

to your toolkit and between them they should do the trick

Download Anti-Malware from www.malwarebytes.org - it's free and very efficient.

Also download ComboFix from www.bleepingcomputer.com but some antivirus progs do not like this and will try to delete it so disable your antivirus first.

If one of the pop ups is Personal Antivirus program you may have to rename malwarebytes and combofix before they will run.
