Low Memory

I keep getting a message on my laptop saying my memory is low, what does this mean & how can I overcome this ?

It does not say "virtual memory" does it?

Depending on the message it could be:

1) That your hard disk is nearly full. If so you need to delete some personal files you dont want (digital pictures, videos etc), Maybe back them up to external drive first.

2) Or your computer memory (RAM) is low. In which case you need to add some more RAM, which is not that difficult if you know a little bit about computers.
