HTTP 500

Can someone tell me why I could not access this website for months. I have just logged on now and it is the first time for at least six to seven months. Even got an email from the Editor saying that I hadn't used the Answerbank. I replied I would if I could. i kept getting the this Web Page is not available HTTP 500 error. So anyway I am back again. Hooray,

Error500 means the web server ran into a major problem and couldn't continue, but why you should be getting that and presumably not everyone else I'm not too sure.

Only real guess is that you've got a proxy server between you and web sites and it was that causing the error. Don't suppose you use AOL by any chance? Hopefully whatever it was is now cleared itself and you're now able to get it without those annoying errors.
