Acer palmatum dissectum

I planted the above tree in my new garden about five months ago it seemed fine but it has dropped nearly all off its leaves is this usual. I thoughit this was a little early ??

I have a few Acers of this variety in my garden too, they do drop their leaves early, and they hate wind, which will burn the leaves and cause the leaves to fall, they really need a secluded place away from wind if possible, but it should be fine, it'll spring forth again in the Spring, good luck with it.....................welsh
