Clicking fingers and palm of left hand - purplish tinge

Any idea of a cream or rub that might help. I have rheumatoid factor in my blood and have had lot of pain but am really doing brilliantly well at moment. The only thing is with both my little fingers the first joint is slightly locking on me (i cant think how to explain it) and also last night my kids commenting on my purply left hand - palm side ? Any ideas ? Sqad I would welcome an input.

I am due to go see him about x ray results anyway so I will do so. Is it strange to be feeling so well after feeling so bad for ages.
