problems with contacts folder in windows mail

A very strange thing has happened to my contacts folder, along the top toolbar where it used to have options to add contacts etc., it now says ORGANIZE, VIEWS, PLAY ALL, AND BURN, as if it is a music folder. There is no option now add or edit contacts, I know I can add a sender to my contact list, but has anyone any ideas on how to restore this folder to normal?

See if this works

RIGHT click on the icon for the folder and choose Properties

From the Window choose the Customize tab

At the top where it say "what type of folder do you want" in the drop down list select Contacts.

You can also do this fropm the Organise menu owhen the folder window is open.

Contacts MAT not be offered as an option, if not get back to us.

Thank you VHG, this worked a treat, I have also restored my music folder to normal too, as it wasnt right either.
