which software?

I am looking for a Family Tree Software .I have my tree on Genes Reunited but one needs to be connected to the internet to access it.but I want to be able to view without having to do this,so I am assumming with the correct software one would be the answer.

I need one which I can enter at least 10 generations.

Anyone out there able to suggest one.

This is the one I have, it isn't the cheapest but it does do everything and is compatable with ancestry.co.uk and GEDCOM

I was hoping to get an answer from you ,Dot as you seem to be very knowledgeable on this subject.

Will everything be saved onto this disc.Or is it just software

yes you can keep it on your harddrive and download it onto a disc as many times as you like, and if you find someone else reseacrhing the same family, they can send you a disc to upload too.
