laptop crashes

hello i have a laptop which is less than six months old it keeps crashing and the only way to switch it off is to remove the battery. any help please.

Hello Phillis,
I dont know how proficient you are with your pc, but you could try booting it into safe mode (press F8 after inital boot) and try a system restore to an earler time (before the problem started)
