What is your favourite holiday destination and why?

My current favourite is Sardinia............gorgeous place.....lovely people.....great food.

Tell her you will do the Fjords again on another short cruise. I have been to Sweden and Norway, very nice but expensive. Go for Panama Canal, West Coast of USA/ South America and beyond. It's not just the Sun either as there is so much to see. Hope one day you can get down to Rio-de-Janeiro, Brazil as it has one of the most impressive Panoramic Sea views of all. Sugar Loaf Mountain and Statue of Christ on the Hill. You can see it all when approaching by ship.

here's hoping redman..............the world cruise I'm eyeing up does I think include Rio............my great problem is I'm trying to persuade my brother or sister to have my dog 'cos I wouldn't put him in kennels for 104 days......

My advice to anyone who wishes to see the World is; Go now while you can (Money Permitting) as there will come a day when it will be too late, and all you can do is wonder ! Unfortunately it cannot happen for some but if you have the means, go out and explore the big wide World as you will not regret it.

my lips are sealed, redman, as the beach is only four miles long and I wouldn't want it crowded out by AB day trippers (actually that photo was taken on a Saturday in late summer). The sand is soft and last time I was there dolphins were surfing in the tide about 30 feet offshore for several evenings... sigh....

At a guess I would say it is somewhere in the Caribbean, where I have visited in the past ! I promise that I won't come and trespass, might catch you sunbathing in the alltogether !!lol

Could be a Nudist Beach. Look out for craft and Squad frollocking in the Dunes !!!!!! lol

thanks redman..............about 20 years ago I could indeed have been caught on the nudist beaches in southern France............nowadays I wouldn't inflict that sight on anyone......

FAO Ummm poor you about your flight to Isle of Man. I live here and I can assure you planes are better now. We treat the plane almost like a bus ,OH has to go off Island about once a week and we mostly fly if we are going on holiday rather than use the boat. Its a fabby day here today blue skies and smooth sea.. Oh ! best holiday destination ? Zante was wonderful and as a single traveller who loves walking I was never worried about being alone.

I guess I have to say Cyprus (Paphos). I have been to some amazing places but Cyprus is the one place I have been to more than once.

I think it was just me Naomi. The plane was so small that we felt every gust of wind. I loved Isle of Mann though. very pretty....

Glad you liked our Island Ummm. I love living here ( ask me again in Feb when I am being blown over by the wind and it might be a different answer tho')
