A bit cloudy this morning here in Gloucestershire. If it turns out like yesterday it will be good. Warm and sunny. I had a charter yesterday, a child's birthday treat. All the children were dressed as pirates, complete with eye patches and rubber cutlasses. And could they make a noise! Every time they aproached a bridge the crewman in the cabid had them all shouting at the top of their young voices 'OPEN THE BRIDGE!' The bridge keepers were creased up. it certainly brightened up their day as well.

Lovelly day here going for a walk around Foxton Locks later which is one of these fabulous old set of locks on the canal. Iits a real pleasure to sit and watch the world go buy there. A much older and now gentlier one.

BBQ planned for this afternoon if the weather stays fine given the last of the warm summer is with us now.

In two weeks the first bites of autumn wil be on us.

Morning all. Bit grim here in Suffolk. But at least it is not raining - yet.

No Sara, he is back in Peterborough. But it suits me because I am effectively "going home". All my family and friends are there. Just trying to sort out work - they are not exactly being helpful!
