How do USB Adaptor Plugs work?
1 Answers
I have one that I use for my mobile phone (my idea, it didn't come with it). I am curious to know how it 'transforms' the voltage and current? It says ' Input 100-250V 50/60' Output 5V ??? But it's very light and clearly not a transformer in the normal sense of the word. How does it change the output? How does it even convert AC to DC? Is it safe to use on any 5V low current device? Thanks a lot. Gemma.
