Need PVR w/o Freeview

Hi - my parents are looking for a PVR or DVR without Freeview built-in. They tried the Emprex from Maplin but after 2 defective units they are back looking again. They definitely don't want built-in freeview, which most boxes have. Any suggestions on a good PVR to look at? TIA.

Be very difficult as it just will not work properly when analogue is switched off.

Their tv has freeview built in already and they had a problem when their last recorder also had freeview so they wanted a digital recorder without this time. Sorry I should have explained better. Thanks for your response anyway.

Unless the recorder has freeview, the tv will have to be turned on and showing the channel they want to record for the duration of the recording.
